Beeing in the testing phase for some time now ... but still a way to go. Finally I have found some testers who applied to the beta program of the Malawi Board Game but I am not sure whether the app will pass the testing phase. Especially for an indy game the requirements are quite high. The testers need to keep the app installed and have (at least from time to time) play a game and send feedback. Many (non professional testers ) have probably also different things to do and are not able to spend so much time in testing ... So what is the result? There is a new market now: companies offering a service to install and "test" your application. But what does that mean? Do you expect that those testers are really interested in finding bugs or helping you in increasing the quality of your application? I doubt that this is the case. It's only another possibility to make money, but not helping to prevent the Play Store being spammed by low quality applications.
