I am still trying to improve the backup and restore tools project Android Backup and Restore Tools and make it more compatible to different versions of Android. Especially newer versions pull e.g. the security keys from the memory and so they are blocking access to the data area when runtime is being stopped. Due to that I changed to a an "app-stop-strategy" to guarantee consistent backups.
